Whitney Richardson was born and raised in Maryland. She has always been passionate about the arts from a very young age. Drawing and painting were her propensities from birth however, Whitney plunged into the performing arts later in life. Whitney Received her Dual Bachelor's Degree in International Business and Management from Penn State University. Later, she went on to Pursue a Masters in Graphic Design from The University of Baltimore where her passions for the arts erupted. This intrigued her love and interest in Photography—later she switched Universities altogether. Whitney enrolled at The Academy Art University in San Fransisco for Motion Picture and Television; where she came to yet another crossroad between directing and producing. She took a course in theater and realized she enjoyed being in front of the camera more than behind the scenes. This started her two-and-a-half-year journey in the performing arts! Whitney can be seen on HBO's We Own This City. Whitney’s work also includes her role as Nichole in the upcoming film Poison Tree, Cobalt on Maroon, and Zevaria the high elf priestess in Camp Dragons Next Installment: CRUSE. Whitney started her acting career in theater as the Narrator for DreamWrights Theater's James and the Giant Peach, and later The Rockefeller special with Silver Spring Stage Theater.

Whitney has found her niche. She is continuously growing and developing her craft to help pave the way as a symbol of prosperity for other young arts who also find themselves at the crossroads of life. She believes that no matter the direction or how many right or left turns you make along the way—follow your heart and more importantly never give up on your dreams. They define you and pave the way to who you will become in this life.

“ Everyone has a story to tell, and I encourage you all to be bold, brave, and courageous to tell your stories. Believe me, they have a palace in history and are truly meant to be told.”   ~Whitney Richardson
